Mommy, I Love You!

There are no words sweeter to a mother’s ear than a sincere, “Mommy, I love you.” Sometimes, however, what follows is not at all what is expected. This morning, Connor leaped into my arms and declared, “Mommy, I love you when you are warm and smelly!” My heart started to melt, and then filled with laughter that I just couldn’t hold in.
In case you are wondering… I had just walked out of the bathroom after showering and getting ready for a new day.
This is one heartfelt statement I am sure will bring a smile to my face for years to come!
